- Walking everywhere
- Feras and his kebobs
- NO HOMEWORK, but still learning a ton in my classes
- The beach
- Traveling
- Spanish nightlife
- All the nice notes from friends and family
- Blogging
- My host mom's cooking!
- Churros con chocolate
- Staying up late, sleeping in late
- Fresh fruit...all the time
- Government sanitation...the streets are always so clean, even after a Friday or Saturday night!
- My teachers, especially Veronica y José
- The lack of humidity
- The brasero and meals in the living room with the family
- The Arab markets and teterias
- Staring at people
- Shoe stores!
- Margarita nights with the girls
- Hanging out in the plazas and streets
- City transportation
- Going to the movies in Spanish (and UNDERSTANDING!!)
- The beautiful trees and flowers
Things I won't miss so much...
- Feeling out of place
- Miscommunication
- CRAPPY internet
- Having to PAY for crappy internet
- Not being able to pick up the phone and call my friends and family
- LATE meals...I was always starving
- Searching for hostels
- Planning trips
- The euro
- Using cash for EVERYTHING...debit card, here I come!!
- Blogging (it was a love/hate thing...)
- Soup, particularly those with garbanzo beans or lentils
- Couples and their freaking PDA
- Radiated Milk
- Caca en las calles
- My crappy cell phone
- Motos
- Converters
- Arriving to school drenched in sweat
- Being stared at
- Spanish men
- Line dried clothes
- Slippery roads
Overall...I LOVED ESPAÑA!! I couldn't be more happy with my study abroad country, and had an amazing semester. I WILL BE BACK, and I hope you all try to get here some day as well. Thanks so much for following my travels with me...it's been a lot of fun sharing with you. :)
